Careers

Working with the Ophthalmology department at Auckland District Health Board, you know at the end of the day you have made a real difference. You work closely with the patients, from scheduling their appointments and greeting them at reception on arrival, to following up on tests. You also get to work with other fantastic people everyday who are also focused on making a difference in the lives of their patients.

Greenlane Ophthalmology Department is a 28 consultant tertiary referral ophthalmic unit with close ties to the University of Auckland. More than 45,000 patients are reviewed each year by our staff. The multi-disciplinary team provides an innovative environment, providing ophthalmic electrodiagnostic tests for patients to assist the diagnosis and management of various ophthalmic conditions.
