  • The Recruitment Timeline

    We welcome your application for vacancies that arise during the training year.

    The next training year for House Officers is November 2009 until November 2010 and for Registrars is December 2009 until December 2010.

    If, however, you wish to start employment at the beginning of the training year, the following is the application timeline for 2009.

    International advertising of RMO applications commence Saturday 08th May

    Applications remain open for 2010-2011 Training Year 

     
    JUNE

     

    Advertising ceases for Registrar positions on 14th June and House Officer/SHO positions on 28th June

    Interviews commence in June. Successful applicants will be contacted

     
    JULY

     Registrar interviews continue throughout July

     
    AUGUST

     

    Offer letters sent out to all successful Registrar applicants on 02nd August

    Acceptances for Registrar posts to be returned by 16th August

    Offer letters sent out to all successful House Officer applicants on 09th August

    Acceptances for House Officer posts to be returned by 23rd August

     
    SEPTEMBER


    Roster writing begins for House Officers

     
    OCTOBER

    Roster writing begins for Registrars

    Starter packs sent out for House Officers for Nov 2010

     

  • Overseas Trained Doctors

    We welcome applications from overseas trained doctors. Please note, however, that if you have trained outside of New Zealand or Australia then any job offer made will be conditional on your gaining medical registration and a work visa.
