  • The Recruitment Timeline

    We welcome your application for vacancies that arise during the training year. Visit the vacancies section of the website for a list of these.

    The next training year for House Officers runs from November 2011 until November 2012 and for Registrars December 2011 until December 2012.

    If you wish to start employment at the beginning of the training year, the following is the application timeline for 2011/2012.

     

    AUGUST

    Offers of employment made for start of 2011-2012 training year
     
    SEPTEMBER

    Post September 1 any unfilled positions will be advertised on the Auckland Doctors website under the vacancies section.

    Allocations for 2011-2012 trainging year are released mid September

    BMJ fair in London on 30 September and 1 October 2011 in the Business Design Centre in Angel

     
    November

    New PGY1 house officers start on:

    WDHB - 21 November 2011

    CMDHB - 21 November 2011

    ADHB - 24 November 2011

    New PGY2+ house officers start on 28 November 2011

     
    December

    Registrar year commences 12 December 2011

     
     

     

     

     

     

  • Overseas Trained Doctors

    We welcome applications from overseas trained doctors. Please note, however, that if you have trained outside of New Zealand or Australia then any job offer made will be conditional on your gaining medical registration with the Medical Council of NZ and a work visa via NZ Immigration.
